My Colt SCAR-L Type B clone is in progress. This project has been in progress for a few years. I just failed to prioritize it until a couple of months ago. I ended up selecting the great staff @wrightarmory in Arizona to complete the exterior finish work on the parts. The parts were dropped off in early October while I was in town for the Colt Collectors Association convention.

The color mandated in the program specifications is Federal Standard color #30118 which translates to Flat Field Drab. Kalgard Gun Kote was the original program coating but Cerakote had an exact match with the same FS number that was readily available.

I’m excited to see it in the final stages.
