The Colt CR6700A4 is a rebranding of the legacy AR-15A4 rifle with a rifle length gas system and 20-inch barrel. The CR6700A4 first appeared for sale on Gun Broker around 1 Feb 2021. Below are eight images of the rifle and are the best images available to date (4 Feb 2021) of the CR6700A4.

It is disappointing to see that the CR6700A4 is, initially at least, coming with a ‘Carbine’ marked lower receiver.

In the image below, note presence of the ambidextrous selector lever.

In the image below, notice the absence of the legacy ‘C’ marking or the newer Colt CAGE code before the Cerro Forge (keyhole) forge mark.

The image below is from the firearm distribution website for Lipsey’s. It shows an MSRP of $1099.00.

The prices that I have seen on Gun Broker for the CR6700A4 from 1 Feb 2021 to 4 Feb 2021 has been $1199.00 and $1399.00. The ‘Carbine’ marked lower receiver on this rifle has not been accepted well on social media sites so far. It will be interesting to see if this impacts market sales and prices.
