An auction for an actual Colt DOE 9mm SMG upper ended on May 23rd. The starting bid amount was listed as $2,250. The auction did not get any bids.

The starting bid of $2,250.00 is much less than what the DOE uppers have been selling for over the last couple of years. Those values have been in the $2,750 to $3,000 range.

Prices for various Colt firearm items got hyper-inflated as part of the COVID-19 market disruption. Over the last 12 months or so, prices have started to come back down. It’s been good to see some sanity starting to return to the market.
