Arms Unlimited Colt ‘MK 12 HBAR’ Rifle

I purchased an Arms Unlimited Colt MK 12 HBAR rifle on 21 SEP 2019 at $1495 from Arms Unlimited. I picked the rifle up today (27 SEP) from my local FFL. I am in the process of gathering additional information on the rifle and will publish more details soon. Here is a photo of the rifle.

R6701 Competition HBAR Custom Shop Limited Edition

I added a section to the website for this rifle that was a limited edition of 2000. Sadly, the images only reflect the box end and the lower receiver. The rest of the original rifle had been modified for prairie dog hunting. There are two additional images to see here: https://thecoltar15resource.com/r6701-competition-hbar-custom-shop-limited-edition/

Colt “Y” Hand Guards

I have added a section to the site that discusses the Colt Y-hand guards that were provided to a couple of foreign military customers. There is a brief description of the hand guard history, two down-loadable patent files and 28 photos. You can check it out at this link: https://thecoltar15resource.com/y-foreign-contract-hand-guards/

Colt SP6920 Carbine

The Colt SP6920 was a brief ‘civilian’ version of the LE6920. From what I have been able to identify, from reading various archived internet forum posts, the SP6920 was only manufactured during 2011 roughly. I have gathered images of a couple of examples here. The introduction page is here: https://thecoltar15resource.com/sp6920-series/

You can see information on the earlier model of the SP6920 here: https://thecoltar15resource.com/sp6920mp-b/

You can see information on the late model of the SP6920 here: https://thecoltar15resource.com/sp6920-late-production/

Report Of The M16 Rifle Review Panel 1 June 1968

Although this site is dedicated to Colt AR-15’s sold on the civilian market, I decided I needed to add the documents for the Report Of The M16 Rifle Review Panel dated 1 June 1968. The report consists of twelve documents…The base report, History of the M16, and eleven appendixes. I have uploaded all 12 .pdf documents here on the site and have provided download links for them. You can find the report documents here:

R6700CH Competition HBAR ‘Range Select’

I added a page for the limited edition Colt R6700CH Competition HBAR rifle. This rifle was only made in 1992 according to the information I have. I have added 18 photos of this incredible rifle set to the its page here: https://thecoltar15resource.com/r6700ch-range-select/
