I came across this Colt commercial video the other day. I am not sure when it is from. It shows the 6940 platform and you see some smaller Aimpoints so I think the video was done in the last 5 to 10 years.

I don’t know what to think……. I love Colt despite their internal issues. I actually like all their products. This leaves me in a weird place. The commercial looks a little 80’s or 90’s and seems like an internal effort. It doesn’t have the slick ad effect we’ve to expect from mouthwash or beer. It would appeal to anyone that likes the army/guns but generally leaves out the public. They aren’t probably aware of the possible “Full Metal Jacket” link or what the Aimpoints Are or the high end equipment. etc….

I agree with your sentiment that it doesn’t appear to be geared toward the commercial market. If I had to bet, I think it is a quick video spot targeting the Law Enforcement market.

It could be for a presentation. That was all the rage in 80/90’s. My company used to do them than we started getting tons of PowerPoint presentation, which we still do, ugk….😴
