I added a couple of images of the 1993 Colt New Products tri-fold in the ‘catalogs’ section that featured the Colt 7.62×39 Sporter Lightweight rifle.

I’m looking at buying one of the Colt MK12 HBARs from Arms Unlimited. In the process of trying to learn more about it, I came across this article done by the good folks at http://www.looserounds.com. The article discusses the CR6724 Colt Accurized Rifle which has a 24″ 1/9 stainless steel barrel.

The Arms Unlimited MK12 rifles have stainless steel 1/9 barrels. Knowing that these rifles were made exclusively for Arms Unlimited, I have the feeling that the 18″ barrels on the AU MK12 are left over barrels from the Colt Accurized Rifle. Anyway, I hope to have details for you very soon as work on finalizing the purchase of one of AU MK12 rifles. In the meantime, check out Looserounds article on the old CR6724 rifle here: http://looserounds.com/2017/11/01/colt-accurized-rifle-hbar-elite-cr6724-part-1/
The limited edition Colt Z-COTE series of weapons are a not well known chapter in Colts storied firearm history. I have added a section to the site today with some information that has been gathered. If you have any photos of weapons or accessories that were part of the ‘Z-COTE’ series I would be grateful if you shared them. You can email me at editor@thecoltar15resource.com.

Added an entry and some images/information for the Colt LE6940P Piston Carbine lowers that were sold by Arms Unlimited toward the end of 2018.

I have uploaded 28 photos of one of 25 Colt slightly modified LE6940 upper receiver assemblies that were sold by Arms Unlimited in 2018. You can see the rest of the photos in the Prototype/Test section of the website.

Today’s site content addition is 9 photos of the Colt 7.62x39mm factory 5-round magazine. Here is a look at a couple of photos. See the ‘magazine’ section of the website for the other seven photos.

I have uploaded images of all 20 pages of the 2013 Military Rifle and Carbine Catalog.

Shawn and Howard run a firearms ezine/blog whatever your preferred label is. The content is varied and it is informal. Most importantly, it is honest. They are not paid cheerleaders for any one company. Anyway, Howard did an entry for today discussing his recent acquisition of a rare Colt FDE anodized LE6940. Check it if you have an interest in seeing more about the rifle. The link to LooseRound is on the home page and here it is now for your convenience: http://looserounds.com/

Today I have added a section and sub-sections with details of two different versions of the Colt LE6920 SCMCK upper receiver conversion kits that were marketed by Colt. See the entries for additional details.

I added 19 photos of a New In Box SP1 rifle that was made in the 1980-1981 time frame. This rifle sold on Gunbroker for $2500.00 February 2019
