I have scanned and uploaded all six pages of the Colts 1987 M16A2 product trifold. You can see all of the images here on the website. https://thecoltar15resource.com/colt-1987-product-trifold/

Wow. In the summer of 1986 the Colt M16A2 was my first Marine Corps issue weapon. The nostalgia – where can I find the civilian version A2.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a Colt version of something like the M16A2 available. The Colt rifle that was on the U.S. market and was close to the M16A2 was one of the AR15A2 Sporter variants. Unfortunately, it had an SP1 type lower receiver on it.

I really enjoyed the older 1966 catalog, view the prices and how they used to be. I love the Colt Woodsman section, as I am a collector. I would love to see more articles about older firearms . I too am looking for the 762×39 to arrive at my favorite FFL. Keep up the good work!
